Shop.org Events: The Community, Connected

There is no better way to participate in the Shop.org Community than at our events. Uniquely programmed with peer roundtables, one-on-one discussions and rich networking opportunities around progressive content, Shop.org Events are organized entirely to be a productive use of your time out of the office. They give you plenty to talk about, and the right people to engage in conversation.  

Our Events are open to Shop.org Members and Non-Members alike. Most non-members who attend ultimately join Shop.org, and almost all attendees would recommend Shop.org Events to a colleague.

Members and Non-Members are also invited to Sponsor or Exhibit at Shop.org Events, and also to Speak at Shop.org Events.

Which Events to Attend?

• Start with The Annual Summit, each fall in Las Vegas. It’s the one conference we produce for everyone in digital retail: Senior Management, Marketers, Merchants and Solution Providers. The keynotes here provide big-picture vision relevant to anyone in the industry, and our concurrent sessions are broken into Strategic and Tactical tracks to better match all attendees’ expectations and functional responsibilities. With 2500 attendees and 160 exhibitors, it’s our biggest show. But we work hard to maintain the familiarity and accessibility Shop.org events are known for.

• Our provocative Strategy and Innovation Forum is designed for Senior Managers taking a long view of the digital retail business. Held a good month after the end of the holiday season, the SI Forum is more about looking forward to the upcoming year than it is about re-hashing the previous one. The content focus is on consumer and technology trends on the horizon, as well as identifying and prioritizing new investments.

• Our Workshops are intimate, tactical and rich with actionable data and advice. Limited to an audience of 250 retailer-only plus sponsors, the workshops retain a 4:1 ratio of retailers to non-retailers.

The annual Online Marketing Workshop runs every spring, and zeroes in on the tactics, data and insight that marketers need. It’s probably the best chance you’ll have all year to compare notes with a fellow retailer who has the same exact marketing responsibilities that you do.

Each summer we host the Online Merchandising Workshop, designed expressly for retailer professionals charged with lifting conversion rates, average order values and customer loyalty.

• We also host retailer-only Regional Dinners for our members and guests – the perfect pairing of exquisite cuisine with candid conversation, in a relaxed evening environment.

• The Global e-commerce Summit, produced jointly by Shop.org and EMOTA, provides an essential perspective on digital retail’s global implications and opportunities. First-hand accounts from leading international retailers will provide the backdrop for networking and rich conversation on regional strategies, cultural nuances, and consumer trends worldwide.

To celebrate the beginning of the holiday buying season for online shoppers, Shop.org and NRF host Shop@Lunch, a fun midday event that gets online shoppers together to eat, shop online, and find great deals on CyberMonday.com. No matter what time of year, you can learn more about Cyber Monday, the event that kicks off the online holiday shopping season.
