 Attendees of our Shop.org Online Merchandising Workshop were inspired by our keynote presentations, engaged by the practical and tactical success tips shared in our afternoon panel discussions, and energized by our retailer case studies. Raul Vazquez, CEO of Walmart.com started Day 1 with sharing how Walmart.com uses Value, Assortment, Simplicity, and Content to create a strong merchandising focused customer experience. Bryan Eisenberg followed with outlining The Golden Rules of Online Merchandising and describing which web elements and features are truly valued by the customer. The afternoon continued with panel and small group discussions on topics such as the results of the Merchandising portion of our State of Retailing online report and what it means to retailers, a detailed case-study of the just launched DSW website, best practices in multivariate and A/B Testing, and how small retailers succeed on with a limited budget and resources. more... |
