Shop.org's "Best Practices in Online Merchandising" workshop, held July 14-16 in Baltimore, Maryland, provided an intimate, relaxed environment for approximately 200 online executives from leading retail companies to explore strategies and techniques to improve conversion rates and the online shopping experience.
With a 5:1 ratio of retailers to non-retailers attending, Shop.org workshops are structured to provide attendees with an intimate, non-commercial learning environment where they can hear cutting-edge thinking and enjoy focused content in an intimate and non-commercial environment that emphasizes peer-to-peer learning and interaction. The workshop emphasized information sharing through mixed learning formats that included:
