Event Presentations

The Online Merchandising Workshop sold out and was highly rated for its content as well as for its networking opportunities. And what a place to network! From the opening cocktail reception poolside at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines to the golfing and surfing outings, workshop attendees were able to blend business with the great pleasure of spending time in lovely La Jolla , CA . The annual merchandising workshop for retailers focused on increasing conversion, growing average order value through effective cross-selling and up-selling, and making the tough decisions on allocating budget dollars to site improvements and innovations. Retailer roundtables were a big hit, too, as newcomers and seasoned e-commerce veterans traded tips and talked about best practices in online merchandising.

TESTIMONIALS

  • This was my first shop.org conference. I learned so much from the speakers and as well as the other participants. I had to opportunity to meet with some of the best marketers in e-commerce. The round table discussions were most helpful. Everyone was so friendly and willing to share their knowledge of the industry. Attending this conference was a great investment and I cannot wait to see the effect on our business once we can implement our findings from this conference. I hope to attend future shop.org events. — Lauren Thayer, E-Commerce Marketing Specialist, Road Runner Sports
  • I thought the event was done very nicely, and professionally. I really had some great quality networking at the event and hope to return again.
    — Kristina Nordstrom, Category Manager, Best Buy
  • The networking is fantastic. No matter how big or small the companies attending, you can always discuss some aspect of your online business.
