Now in its 12th year, the Shop.org eHoliday Study, conducted in partnership with BIGinsight, provides a valuable benchmarking tool for online retailers—both multichannel and web only—during the holiday season.
In June and September we conduct a series of surveys to gauge pre-holiday plans and outlook for both retailers and consumers. This study helps you understand how retailers and consumers view what's important for the season and how your retail peers are preparing. We follow up in January with a survey of how the season went, sharing what worked - and what didn’t - to help you plan for next year’s season. During the summer, we also release our annual Holiday Strategy and Planning Guide to help retailers plan in detail for the upcoming holiday season.
The results of the annual eHoliday Study are released to all Shop.org Members, as well as other retailers who complete the surveys. Retailers who wish to participate in upcoming eHoliday surveys should contact Fiona Swerdlow, Head of Research at Shop.org, at email@example.com.
