Shop.org Job Board Guidelines & Frequently Asked Questions

The Shop.org Job Board is available to members as a FREE platform for sharing job opportunities relevant to retailers and service providers within the Online and Multi-channel Retail Industry. 

You'll join companies such as Sears Holdings, Ann Taylor, PUMA, Lacoste, Demandware, Bazaarvoice and others who have placed job listings with us.

Why post on the Shop.org Job Board?
First off – it is a FREE member benefit for all Shop.org member companies to post their jobs on the Shop.org Job Board.  You reach nearly 30,000 digital retail professionals including contacts from Shop.org’s member base of over 600 member companies and subscribers to Shop.org's SmartBrief daily email newsletter.  The question should be – why not?

When will the job go live?  How long will it remain there?
Your job posting goes live right away. It will remain live on the Shop.org Job Board for 90 days unless you remove it.

Can jobs be edited once live?
Yes.  You can add, remove and update information on your job post.  You can also DELETE your job post once the position has been filed.  Email us if you have any problems making edits to your posting.

How do you register to post a job to Shop.org Job Board?
You must be a Shop.org Member to post jobs to the job board. Not sure if your company is a member?  Click here for a list of Shop.org Member Companies. Not a member of Shop.org?  Join now

You must also have a web account (login) on the Shop.org website.  This will only take a minute to set up and is free for all Shop.org members.  Once you sign up online, a web login and password will be emailed to you within one business day. Register here for a Shop.org web account login

How to post a job to the job board?

  1. Use your Shop.org website login and password on the Shop.org website at Shop.org
  2. In the green navigation bar at the top of the page scroll over “Get Involved”. Select “Job Board” from the drop down list to access the Shop.org Job Board.
  3. Select a category (marketing, merchandising, sales) where the job being posted fits best and click on that category link.
  4. Select “Post a new thread” to list the job.  All the information related to the job should be listed here. We recommend that all of the following information is included in your job posting:
  • Company Name
  • Job Title
  • Job Description
  • Job Location (City and State)
  • How to apply (Website and/or Email Address).
  • Please make sure that when you post you include the company,  job title and city and state are included in the SUBJECT LINE as well in the description
  1. When you have finished writing your description click on the “Post New Thread” option at the bottom of the page.  Your job will be listed in the category you selected for 120 days.
